FAQ

Do I have to wait for a new session to begin?

New students can join us at any time.  We will schedule a private lesson to get you started before attending your first class.  We teach in a safe, fun atmosphere and you will feel comfortable in no time!

What is the time commitment?

We offer programs to fit a variety of busy schedules. Children’s classes are thirty-five to forty-five minutes, and the teen and adult classes are one hour. We recommend choosing a program that averages two classes per week. However, we also offer programs for training once per week.
For members who want to get more involved, we offer special events, community activities, and sport karate classes.   We offer traditional and tournament weapons training, leadership classes, and more.

How does the schedule work?

Our schedule is desinged to be as flexible as possible.   We offer three class options each week and you can pick and choose what works best for you on a weekly basis.  You can even come for an extra class if you missed time.

How long of a commitment must I make?

Members can train for as long as they like, and can discontinue their membership at any time. You do not have to commit to any long length of time. However, the longer you stay with us, the greater the value. Students who maintain their monthly member fees will never have a price increase, even if they train with us for 20 years.

Do you have a family program?

Yes we do! We have a special family plan for three members, and a special plan for your whole family. It gives your entire family access to classes and training. It’s the perfect program if you have three or more family members who wish to train.

What if we register for a trial membership, and we don’t like it?

No worries! If you find that for whatever reason we aren’t good fit for you or the timing just isn’t right, you have no obligation to continue.
