It’s often said that your attitude determines your altitude. That’s because with the right attitude, you can accomplish nearly anything. This is especially true where your goal of Black Belt is concerned.
Make Quality Decisions
Learning to accept total responsibility for your decisions is a major characteristic of a quality Black Belt. Such an attitude is essential, since every decision you make will cause either a positive or negative consequence to occur. That being the case, initiate every action with the intent to create a positive reaction.
Have Endless Persistence
Thomas Edison once said, The most certain way to succeed is to always try just one more time.” That’s a common characteristic of the best Black Belts at any school. There is a great seal of persistence and inner strength in every action they take.
Be A Self-Motivator
All great Black Belts took the initiative to do extra training on their own as under ranks. All of this extra practice is what has helped them to be so sharp. Repetition is the key to success.
When you’re a Black Belt, you’re a Black Belt both inside the school and out. Therefore, you must be committed in every area of your life. These four faculties will aid you as you go.
